The EnthinderungsReferat (Accessibility Department) is specifically responsible for our group of students. This includes students with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or neurodivergent brains (for example ADHD or autism). Often, society and the university create obstacles for us. We call these obstacles barriers. Our goal is to remove these barriers.
Our main tasks:
- University Policy: We represent the needs of our student group to the university management. We demand accessibility in buildings, on websites, in classes, and during exams.
- Events: We organize workshops and talks. We address topics like studying with barriers, inclusion, and protection against discrimination.
- Community & Safe Spaces: We create safe spaces where students from our group can meet, support each other, and share experiences.
