Important! Between 22.7. and 6.9.2024, social counseling will be offered at different consultation hours.
In the period from 22.7. to 6.9. the consultation hours of the social counseling on site at the AStA will only take place on the following days:
Friday, 26.7. 11:30-14:30
Tuesday, 30.7. 12:30-15:30
Monday, 5.8. 13:00-17:00
Tuesday, 27.8. 12:30-15:30
Thursday, 29.8. 13:00-17:00
Tuesday, 3.9. 12:30-15:30
Counseling by e-mail to sozialberatung@astafu.de will be offered throughout the entire period.

The social counseling takes place in the AStA-Villa every wednesday from 10:45 to 14:45, from april 24 on.
Topics of the counseling:
- Students and health insurance
- Study and job
- "Social law characteristics" of students, interns, doctoral candidates and the like
- Bürgergeld (former ALG II/Hartz 4)
- Child benefit
- Broadcasting contributions / Ex-GEZ
- Housing allowance
- Counseling assistance certificate
- General: Student financing
- Leave of absence and part-time studies
- Not a complete consultation but perhaps a few useful tips, tricks and addresses on the topics: tax, alimony, studying with a child.
Counseling hours
The social counseling takes take place in the AStA-Villa every wednesday from 10:45 to 14:45. You do not need to make an appointment beforehand. As always, you can also contact us by e-mail. Please write to: sozialberatung (at) astafu.de
The counseling cooperates with a lawyer for social law. At the moment, direct consultation with a lawyer is not possible. Please therefor have a look at our different legal counseling options here.
