Info on the current semester ticket
The Deutschland-Semesterticket is a digital ticket and can only be accessed via the S-Bahn Berlin application.
All steps must be completed, even if you already had the ticket last semester!
How do I get my ticket?

Step 1: Order the Deutschland-Semesterticket via the S-Bahn Berlin subscription portal.
- Login via the subscription portal of the S-Bahn Berlin: https://abo-antrag.de/studium
- Abo-Portal: Select University (->FU-Berlin)
- Log in with university login data (FUB-IT)
- An overview with product information appears. Everything is already filled in automatically. You just have to click on “Continue/Weiter”.
- Confirm the legal conditions by clicking the “Continue/Weiter” button
- You will receive another overview and click on “Finalize the order/Bestellung abschließen”
- After completing your order, you will receive an e-mail with all the relevant
information about your Deutschland-Semesterticket
Step 2: Logging in to the S-Bahn Berlin app
1. Open or download the “S-Bahn Berlin App” on your phone.
2. agree to the privacy policy
3. In the side menu → Select "My Subscription"
4. Click on Log in/Register and select the FU login option. You will be redirected to the FU single sign-on page.
5. Log in with university login details (FUB-IT)
Step 3: Accessing the ticket in the S-Bahn Berlin app
1. Log in again to the "S-Bahn Berlin App"
2. The ticket will be displayed after 72 hours at the latest
General information
Validity period:
01.10.2025 – 31.03.2026 (Wintersemester 2025/2026)
Authentication:
You have to carry an ID to show when inspected.
Area of validity
Valid in local public transport in Germany; see therefore the general informations abit the validity of the Deutschlandticket
Transferability
The ticket a personalized ticket so can’t be used by another person.
What can i bring with me?
- Free of charge: children under the age of 6 years, baby buggy, hand luggage
- Not allowed: Other persons
- Dogs: You can not take dogs all over Germany, but it is allowed to take 1 dog in the transport area of the VBB.
- Bikes: You can not take bikes without paying the extra bike ticket.
