Wir freuen uns sehr, euch nun unsere dritte Ausgabe und zwar die erste Version unseres Sozialreaders auf Englisch präsentieren zu können!
Mit diesem Buch wollen wir all jenen eine Hilfestellung und nützliche Informationen bieten, die in Berlin leben oder studieren. Wir haben versucht, euch in verschiedenen Rubriken einen guten Überblick über Chancen und Möglichkeiten zu verschaffen, wie ihr euer Studium oder einfach nur das schöne Leben in Berlin und darüber hinaus möglichst preiswert – und dennoch abwechslungsreich und aufregend – gestalten könnt.
Bevor der neue Sozialreader des AStA FU auch in gedruckter Form im AStA oder in studentischen Cafés ausliegt, bekommt ihr den Reader hier schon einmal vorab als pdf-Datei zum herunterladen. Viel Spaß!

We, the Social Department of the Student Council of the Free University Berlin, are very happy to finally present our first English edition of the Berlin Sozialreader or Social Reader.
In this booklet you will find general information, different links, tricks and tips which might be of interest and use for those who live and study in Berlin. In six chapters, our editorial board has collected many useful tips, with the help of which you will enjoy a multifaceted Berlin life, while spending little to no money at all. It is essential to bear in mind that not everything priced is valuable, and vice versa, not everything that is valuable has a price. A closer insight into this tedious statement will be found in two theoretical texts at the beginning of this book.
You are free to download the book as a pdf-file right now. Soon it will be also available as a paper-cover copy. You will easily find it in the Student Council of the FU (the AStA FU) or in one of our many student cafés on the Campus. Enjoy!
